John Tucker, MD and Flipanthropist
Emergency Medicine Physician with ERMED
Milwaukee, WI
John has supported Flipanthropy in
many ways. In 2008, he organized a workplace NCAA pool and donated
the money collected to Flipanthropy. He also helped organize and
participated in "Dunk the Doc," a dunk tank set up at the annual
summer picnic for the hospital staff and their families that work
with ERMED. He and several other doctors climbed in to the tank and
got dunked by fellow hospital staff members and their families all to
raise money for Flipanthropy.
Thanks John for being
such a great sport and supporter!
Brian Bell
Engineers Without Borders, University of Minnesota
Brian and his team made room in their suitcases to take
200 pairs of flip-flops with them to school children in Uganda during
the summer of 2009. While in Uganda, Brian and the other students
installed a groundwater system at the school. Brian recently
graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Civil
Engineering and minor in Architecture. He has served as president of
Engineers Without Borders as well as worked as a project manager and
fundraiser for water and sanitation projects in Uganda.
Thank you Brian and to all of your team for
delivering our flip-flops to Uganda to help protect the feet of those
adorable Ugandan children! Check out the photos Brian took while
there on the Flipanthropy Gets Around page.

Cindy Mitchell, Flipanthropist
Seattle, WA
Prior to her retirement from
Queen Anne Books in Seattle, WA, Cindy and her staff were great
supporters of Flipanthropy. We were proud to have them selling our
products alongside John Woods book, "Leaving Microsoft to Change the
World."
Thank you Cindy for helping us spread the love of Flipanthropy!

Leah Schneider, Flipanthropist
Whitefish Bay, WI
Friends of Flipanthropy are always looking for creative ways to
support Flipanthropy.
Leah Schneider is no exception. Earlier this summer Leah held a
garage sale with
other families in her neighborhood. Leah contacted us and told us
she would like to
sell our flip flops at their sale. On top of that, she generously
donated her profits from
the sale to Flipanthropy!
Thank you Leah for your creativity in
finding a fun way to
support us.
